FMC & Associates, LLC FMC is a Washington, DC based Structural Engineering firm seeking engineers who are interested in opportunities for professional growth, with a flexible work schedule to work through its Egyptian partner office in El-Shorouq or Tenth of Ramadan City.
FMC is a young, growing, dynamic structural engineering firm specializing in the design and rehabilitation of buildings and other structures within the Mid-Atlantic Region. We focus on developing collaborative, long term relationships with clients, which is readily evident in the amount of repeat business. FMC provides professional engineering services across various market sectors, including commercial, institutional, historic, education, healthcare, residential, entertainment, and government.
The ideal candidate works well in a team environment, has the ability to multitask, and is interested in the principals taking personal interest in the professional development of all the engineers.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must.
* Proficiency in Revit is prefered.
* Strong oral and written communication skills in English
* 2-7 years of experience in structural design.
* Familiarity with building structures.
* Knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, and wood design.
Description:
The available position is adaptable to the abilities of the individual engineer, but the position requires the ability to multitask and work on a variety of project types and sizes. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of programs is assumed. Familiarity in structural design and modeling tools, such as SAP, STAAD, RAM, RISA is preferred.
Pre-Selection Training 1 month :
Four pre-selected candidates will be subjected to 1 month of night classroom training in Nasr City and will be awarded $50 if fully attended all the training sessions.
Testing Period 3 month :
Two Successful candidates will be hired and work our partner’s office in El-Shorouq or 10th of Ramadan City for three month. Once testing period ends salary shall increases as below, and full employment benefits will be awarded. Successful candidates are expected to work both as part of a team and will lead projects as appropriate. Flexibility and versatility are a must.
Training Session Awards: $50 / complete training
Testing Period Salary: $250-$350 / Month - based on experience
Regular Salary: $300-$500 / Month - based on experience
